Small tree or shrub, 2-4 m high, vegetative buds and new growth canescent, commonly densely so; pods generally pubescent. Fl. white, Jan to Feb or Apr or Jun to Sep or Nov. Sand, clay & loam soils, red gravel. Mangrove edges, woodland near creeks, roadsides.
