Erect shrub, ca 1 m high, leaves fusiform to narrowly obovoid, 3-5 mm long. Fl. white, Sep. Red sandy clay.
Scientific Description
Shrub, spines absent; branchlets smooth, without distinct raised glands, +/- cylindrical in cross-section, glabrous. Leaves alternate, simple, 3-6 mm long, 1-1.2 mm wide, flat, the margins flat, verrucose (warty), glabrous; stipular excrescences absent. Flowers axillary, solitary; pedicels 3-4 mm long; calyx present, 1.5 mm long, smooth, without distinct raised glands, covered in hairs or scales, the hairs stellate (star-shaped); corolla white or cream, petals five, 3.5-5 mm long, imbricate (overlapping), free, glabrous; stamens twice as many as petals, 2-3 mm long, smooth, glabrous; anthers 1 mm long. Flowers in September. Occurs in the Eremaean Botanical Province, in the Murchison and Coolgardie IBRA region(s). Conservation Code: Priority Three (P3).
