Scientific Description

Prostrate shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 215-345 mm long, 20-35 mm wide, hairy; petiole 50-90 mm long; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, once divided, pinnately divided, shallowly divided, teeth pointing outwards, with 29-37 lobes on each side, the margins flat. Inflorescences tomentose (with matted or tangled, soft, woolly hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 10-15 mm long, hairy. Perianth 18-20 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 28-30 mm long, curved, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, tomentose (with matted or tangled, soft, woolly hairs), elliptic, 28-38 mm long. Flowers in September, October, November or December. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
