Erect or spreading, suckering shrub, 0.3-1.5 m high, leaves entire or shortly lobed near apex; inflorescence compact, usually less than 5 cm long. Fl. pink-purple, Apr to Dec. Sandy & loamy soils over laterite, limestone or granite. Sandplains, hillsides, outcrops.
