Erect, spindly, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.3-1.1 m high. Fl. white/other, Sep to Nov. White or grey sand, often over laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 10-25 mm long, 5-15 mm wide, hairy; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, entire, erect. Inflorescences leafy, the flowers dispersed singly, white, cream or grey, hairy; floral bracts 5-7 mm long, hairy. Perianth 6-10 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1.2-3 mm long, hairy; lower lip 1.2-3 mm long, hairy. Nut 2-3 mm long. Flowers in September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
