Non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.25-1.2 m high. Fl. white/blue, Aug to Dec. Yellow, white or grey sand, often over laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 20-50 mm long, 5-15 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, entire, erect. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers aggregated into distinct clusters, the clusters stalked, white, cream or blue, glabrous; floral bracts 2-3 mm long, glabrous. Perianth 5-9 mm long, irregular, glabrous; upper lip 1.3-1.8 mm long, glabrous; lower lip 1-1.8 mm long, glabrous. Nut 2.3-2.6 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
