Shrub, 0.3-1 m high. Fl. white-blue-pink, Aug to Oct. Sand, lateritic loam & gravel.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 40-155 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, hairy; lamina terete, entire, incurved. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers aggregated into distinct clusters, the clusters sessile, white, pink or blue, hairy; floral bracts 2.5-4 mm long, hairy. Perianth 5-9 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 2.5-3.5 mm long, glabrous; lower lip 2-3 mm long, glabrous. Nut 1.5-2 mm long. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s).
