Erect, compact, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.2-1(-1.5) m high. Fl. white, Sep to Dec. White/grey, yellow or pink lateritic sand, gravel.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.30-0.50 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 10-30 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, incurved or sigmoid. Inflorescences leafy, the flowers dispersed singly, white or blue, hairy; floral bracts 1.5-4 mm long, hairy. Perianth 5-12 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1-2 mm long, hairy; lower lip 0.5-1 mm long, hairy. Flowers in September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
