Erect, spindly, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.4-1 m high. Fl. white/white-other, Jul to Nov. White, grey or yellow/brown sand over laterite. Undulating sandplains.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 10-25 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, hairy; lamina terete, entire, incurved or sigmoid. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers dispersed singly, white or cream, hairy; floral bracts 2.2-4 mm long, hairy. Perianth 6-15 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1.5-3 mm long, glabrous; lower lip 0.5-1 mm long, hairy. Flowers in July, August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
