Spindly or semi-prostrate shrub, 0.3-0.75(-1) m high. Fl. blue/white/pink, Jul to Sep. Gravelly soils with laterite substrate.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1.5 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 70-200 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, hairy; lamina terete, entire, erect or sigmoid. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers aggregated into distinct clusters, the clusters sessile, white, pink or blue, hairy; floral bracts 2-3.5 mm long, hairy. Perianth 4-6 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 2.5-4 mm long, glabrous; lower lip 1.5-2.5 mm long, glabrous, the lobes 0 mm long. Nut 2-2.5 mm long. Flowers in July, August or September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s).
