Erect, lignotuberous shrub, 0.6-2 m high. Fl. white-cream, Aug to Dec or Jan. Lateritic sand, white/grey sand over granite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves alternate, 40-400 mm long, 1-2.5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, erect. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers aggregated into distinct clusters, the clusters stalked, white or cream, hairy; floral bracts 3-5.5 mm long, hairy. Perianth 16-28 mm long, radially symmetrical, glabrous, glabrous, the lobes 8-17 mm long. Nut 2.5-4 mm long. Flowers in January, August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s).
