Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 60-320 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, erect or sigmoid. Inflorescences leafy, the flowers aggregated into distinct clusters, the clusters stalked, white or cream, hairy; floral bracts 2-3 mm long, hairy. Perianth 4-7 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1-2.5 mm long, glabrous; lower lip 1-1.5 mm long, glabrous. Nut 1-2 mm long. Flowers in July, August, September or October. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) Botanical Province(s), in the Murchison (MUR), Great Victoria Desert (GVD) or Coolgardie (COO) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Four (P4).
