Erect annual, herb, 0.2-2.5 m high, indumentum (where present) of patent glandular hairs; stems usually glabrous. Fl. blue-white, Oct to Dec or Jan to Feb. Loamy, sometimes stony soils, peaty sand, granite, ironstone. Seasonally wet areas, creek banks, jarrah or karri forest.
