Stoloniferous perennial or annual, herb, 0.05-0.6 m high, with a basal rosette. Fl. yellow-brown, Oct to Dec. Sandy soils, gravel, black peaty sand, laterite, granite, limestone. Wet habitats, ridges, slopes.
