Moderately dense shrub, 0.6-2 m high. Fl. white-cream-green-yellow, Jun or Aug to Oct. Yellow sand, red loam, gravel. Sandplains.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.8-2.5 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 50-100 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, entire, the margins revolute, enclosing the lower surface of the leaf blade, forming a groove either side of the midvein. Inflorescences terminal, green or cream; pedicels 5-6 mm long. Perianth 4-6 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous or hairy, simple-hairy; ovary glabrous, stipitate, the stipe 1.5-2 mm long; pistil 10-12 mm long, green, cream or pink, pollen presenter lateral, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent, 17-21 mm long. Flowers in June, July, August, September, October or November. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Yalgoo (YAL), Geraldton Sandplains (GS) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s).
