Perennial, herb (with trailing or twining stems), distinguished by stem and leaf hairs mainly appressed; petals 5-7 mm long; outer to 4 mm long. Fl. white/pink, Aug to Oct. Red-brown soils, sandy and loamy soils. Low-lying areas such as flood plains or dry lake bottoms.
