Small tree or shrub, 5-10 m high. Fl. white, May. Sandstone scree.
Scientific Description
Trees, 7-10 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 80-150 mm long, 9-15 mm wide, hairy, on the adaxial or abaxial surface, the hairs straight; lamina flat, widest around the middle, entire, the margins flat. Inflorescences terminal, white; pedicels 1 mm long. Perianth 3-4 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary glabrous, stipitate, the stipe 0.5-1 mm long; pistil 8-12 mm long, white, pollen presenter conical, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent, 20-23 mm long. Flowers in May, June or July. Occurs in the Northern (N) Botanical Province(s), in the Northern Kimberley (NK) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
