The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s flora taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not currently being reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or the census. Due to the substantial work involved in data mapping, cleaning, and verification, the migration to the new collection management software is not expected to occur before 1 May 2026, when a further update will be provided. Erect, spreading, single-stemmed shrub, to 1.2 m high. Fl. cream-pink, Jun. Brown, yellow or grey sand over laterite. Flats and low plains.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 20-45 mm long, 8-15 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, entire. Inflorescences not viscid. Perianth 10-15 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 10-15 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 2-3 mm long, the brush 1-1.5 mm long. Cone with deciduous scales. Flowers in August or September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority One (P1).
