Scientific Description

Shrubs, 3 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 70-140 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, hairy or glabrous, on the adaxial or abaxial surface, the hairs straight; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, entire; lobes 80-300 mm long, 1.5-2.5 mm wide, the margins revolute, enclosing the lower surface of the leaf blade, forming a groove either side of the midvein. Inflorescences axillary or terminal, white or cream; pedicels 2-3 mm long. Perianth 3-5 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, hairy, simple-hairy; ovary hairy, stipitate, the stipe 0.5-1 mm long; pistil 8-11 mm long, white or cream, pollen presenter oblique, style hairy. Follicles hairy, not viscid, dehiscent, 20-23 mm long. Flowers in September, October, November or December. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Yalgoo (YAL), Coolgardie (COO) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
