Prostrate to low-domed open shrub, 0.15-0.3 m high, up to 2 m wide. Fl. pink/pink-red, Jun or Oct. Gravelly sand.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 25-40 mm long, glabrous; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib; lobes 2-7 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, the margins revolute, enclosing the lower surface of the leaf blade, forming a groove either side of the midvein. Inflorescences axillary or terminal, pink; pedicels 7-10 mm long. Perianth 10-15 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary hairy, stipitate, the stipe 1.5-2 mm long; pistil 20-25 mm long, red, pollen presenter lateral, style hairy. Follicles hairy, not viscid, dehiscent, 13-15 mm long. Flowers in June, July, August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Threatened (T).
