Spreading, intricate shrub, 0.8-2 m high. Fl. cream-white, Jun or Aug to Sep or Dec. Red or yellow sand over sandstone. River gorges.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets glabrous, with a glaucous bloom. Leaves alternate, 60-140 mm long, hairy, on the abaxial surface, the hairs straight; lamina flat, twice or more divided, tripartitely divided, divided to the midrib; lobes 20-60 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, the margins revolute, enclosing the lower surface of the leaf blade, forming a groove either side of the midvein. Inflorescences axillary or terminal, white; pedicels 3.5-6 mm long. Perianth 2-4 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary glabrous, stipitate, the stipe 0.5-1 mm long; pistil 4-6 mm long, white, pollen presenter conical, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent, 10.5-13.5 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
