Spreading, bushy shrub, 1-4(-5) m high. Fl. cream-white/cream-yellow, Jul or Sep to Oct or Dec. Grey, yellow or brown sand, sandy clay. Lateritic ridges, plains.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 2-3 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 120-350 mm long, hairy, on the abaxial surface, the hairs straight; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib; lobes 100-200 mm long, 1.5-6 mm wide, the margins revolute, exposing the lower surface of the leaf blade or enclosing the lower surface of the leaf blade, forming a groove either side of the midvein. Inflorescences terminal, white or cream; pedicels 4-10 mm long. Perianth 5-7 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary glabrous, stipitate, the stipe 4-7 mm long; pistil 25-30 mm long, white or cream, pollen presenter oblique, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent, 20-24 mm long. Flowers in January, July, August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s).
