(Mallee, lignotuber present), 3-10 m high, bark rough to very small branches; very narrow, glossy, green adult leaves; short slender peduncles and pedicels; small delicate buds with a conical operculum that is longer than broad. Orange-red clay to sandy loams, often with gravel. Broad rises or slightly undulating areas.
