(Mallee, with lignotuber), 3.5-8 m high, bark rough, coarsely stringy-fibrous, brown to grey on lower part of stems up to branches or smooth throughout, decorticating in long ribbons, grey, coppery-tan, pink to white. Red sands to brown to red loams over limestone. Flat to undulating topography.
