Erect to spreading shrub, (0.4-)0.6-2 m high. Fl. white/cream-yellow, May to Jun or Aug to Oct. Yellow or orange-brown sand.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 15-35 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, hairy, on the abaxial surface, the hairs straight; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, once divided, tripartitely divided, entire or divided to the midrib; lobes 15-35 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, the margins revolute, enclosing the lower surface of the leaf blade, forming a groove either side of the midvein. Inflorescences terminal, white or cream; pedicels 2.5-3.5 mm long. Perianth 2-3.5 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary glabrous, stipitate, the stipe 0.2-0.5 mm long; pistil 5-6.5 mm long, white or cream, pollen presenter conical, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent, 11-14 mm long. Flowers in May, June, July, August, September or October. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Carnarvon (CAR) or Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s).
