Service Notice

The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s flora taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not currently being reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or the census. The project team is now conducting testing of the migrated data, and a further update will be provided by the end of the financial year (1 July). Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1.5-3 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, (45-)54-80 mm long, (20-)25-55 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, once divided, pinnately divided, shallowly divided. Inflorescences axillary, white; pedicels 7-9 mm long. Perianth 2-4 mm long, glabrous; ovary glabrous; pistil 7-8 mm long, pollen presenter oblique, style glabrous. Follicles 35-48 mm long, 23-30 mm wide, corky tetrahedral projections (on external surfaces of fruit) absent; seed 30-34 mm long (including wing), 14-16 mm wide, the wing continuous or discontinuous, marginal, extending ± unequally down each lateral side. Flowers in May, June, July or August. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s).
