Low, lignotuberous shrub, 0.3-0.5 m high, up to 0.6 m wide. Fl. yellow/white/pink, Oct to Dec or Feb. Sandy soils, skeletal loam on granite. Sandhills, salt lakes, sandplains.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, with curled hairs. Leaves alternate, 100-400 mm long, hairy or glabrous; lamina flat, once divided or twice or more divided, tripartitely divided, deeply divided, with (2-)3(-5) points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 90-200 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, white or pink. Perianth 15-20 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 15-22 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, glabrous, 2-3.5 mm long. Cone with deciduous scales, 23-25 mm long. Flowers in January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
