Spreading, lignotuberous shrub, 0.2-2 m high. Fl. yellow/cream, Sep to Dec or Jan to Feb. Sandy gravelly soils, laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 80-240 mm long, 10-20 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, entire. Inflorescences not viscid, cream or yellow. Perianth 10-15 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy at the apex only; pistil 10-18 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, glabrous, 2-2.5 mm long. Cone with deciduous scales, 20-25 mm long. Flowers in January, February, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Warren (WAR) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
