Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-2.5 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 85-220 mm long, 6-30 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, entire. Inflorescences not viscid, cream or yellow. Perianth 13-15 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 15-20 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, glabrous, 2.5-3.5 mm long. Cone with deciduous scales, 24-28 mm long. Flowers in January, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL), Warren (WAR) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
