Erect shrub, 0.3-2 m high. Fl. pink-cream-white, Aug to Nov. Sand or clay on laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-2 m high; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs. Leaves alternate, 25-100 mm long, hairy; lamina terete, more or less the same width throughout, once divided or twice or more divided, pinnately divided or tripartitely divided, entire or divided to the midrib; lobes 1-1.5 mm long, straight or curved, 1-1.5 mm long, with (3-)5-8(-14) points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 20-40 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, cream, yellow or pink. Perianth 13-17 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 13-18 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 2.5-3.7 mm long, the brush 1-3.5 mm long. Cone with deciduous scales, 20-25 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
