Low, spherical, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.2-0.6(-0.8) m high. Fl. yellow/cream-yellow, Aug to Dec. White or brown sand, loam, gravelly soils, laterite.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs. Leaves alternate, 90-180 mm long, glabrous; lamina terete, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with (14-)25-32 points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 45-70 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, cream or yellow. Perianth 13-18 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 13-18 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 2-3.5 mm long, the brush 1.5-2 mm long. Cone with deciduous scales, 20-25 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
