Erect, spreading shrub, 0.5-5 m high. Fl. yellow, Aug to Nov. Yellow or grey sand, sometimes with gravel, laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-5 m high; branchlets hairy, ribbed. Leaves alternate, 50-180 mm long, 1.5-4 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, entire, scabrous, the margins revolute; apex obtuse or pungent. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 8-10 mm long, hairy. Perianth 9-10 mm long, irregular, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage present, 1-1.4 mm long; ovary glabrous; pistil 6-6.5 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October or November. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Murchison (MUR), Coolgardie (COO), Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s).
