Erect, spreading shrub, 0.5-3 m high. Fl. yellow, Oct to Dec or Jan to Feb. Yellow or white sand to clay, often over laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-3 m high; branchlets hairy, not ribbed. Leaves alternate, 8-15 mm long, 2-4 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, scabrous; apex acute. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 2-4 mm long, hairy. Perianth 9-13 mm long, irregular, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage present, 0.5-0.7 mm long; ovary glabrous; pistil 4-6 mm long. Flowers in January, February, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL), Warren (WAR) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
