Service Notice

The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s flora taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not currently being reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or the census. The project team is now conducting testing of the migrated data, and a further update will be provided by the end of the financial year (1 July). Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 50-180 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, straight or curved, smooth, apex obtuse, 0.5-1 mm long. Inflorescences not viscid, cream or yellow. Perianth 8-12 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 12-20 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 1.5-2.5 mm long, the brush 1.5-2 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 15-20 mm long. Flowers in September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Jarrah Forest (JF) or Warren (WAR) IBRA subregion(s).
