Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, with curled hairs. Leaves alternate, 40-110 mm long, glabrous; lamina terete, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with (8-)12(-16) points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 20-25 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, white or yellow. Perianth 8-10 mm long, glabrous; pistil 10-15 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, hairy, 2-3 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 15-25 mm long. Flowers in September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
