Upright, few-stemmed, spreading shrub, 0.3-1.5 m high. Fl. yellow/cream-yellow, Sep to Nov. Sandy soils, laterite, gravelly soils.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy, with curled hairs. Leaves alternate, 50-100 mm long, glabrous; lamina terete, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with (11-)15-17(-19) points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 30-45 mm. Inflorescences viscid, cream or yellow. Perianth 10-12 mm long, glabrous; pistil 10-15 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, hairy, 2.5-3.8 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 25-40 mm long. Flowers in September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
