Service Notice

The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s flora taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not currently being reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or the census. The project team is now conducting testing of the migrated data, and a further update will be provided by the end of the financial year (1 July). Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 50-150 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, once divided or twice or more divided, pinnately divided or tripartitely divided, entire or divided to the midrib. Inflorescences not viscid, white, cream or yellow. Perianth 10-14 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 11.5-15 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, glabrous, 3-5 mm long, the brush 1-2 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 18-25 mm long. Flowers in August or September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
