Prostrate, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.15-0.5 m high. Fl. yellow-cream-white/cream-pink, Jul to Dec or Mar. White or grey sand, gravelly sand, gravel, sandy loam, clay. Sandplains.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.30-1 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 160-330 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, straight or curved, smooth, apex acute, 0.7-1 mm long. Inflorescences not viscid, cream or yellow. Perianth 14-16 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 15-20 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 4-5 mm long, the brush 2.5-3.3 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 10-25 mm long. Flowers in July, August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
