Erect, much-branched shrub, 0.3-1.7 m high. Fl. yellow-cream, Sep to Nov. Yellow sand, sometimes with gravel. Sandplains.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs. Leaves alternate, 70-145 mm long, 1.5-2 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, once divided, tripartitely divided, entire or divided to the midrib, 1.5-2 mm long, with (2-)3-4 points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 35-100 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, white, cream or yellow. Perianth 10-14 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 10-15 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, hairy, 5-6.5 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 25-40 mm long. Flowers in September, October or November. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s).
