Erect rigid or sprawling shrub, 0.2-1(-2) m high. Fl. yellow-cream-white, Aug to Dec. Gravelly sandy soils, laterite, granitic soils, clay. Coastal plains, sandplains.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs. Leaves alternate, 35-75 mm long, glabrous; lamina flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided, with (13-)16-19(-24) points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 10-20 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, white, cream or yellow. Perianth 15-23 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 18-25 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 3-4 mm long, the brush 1.5-3 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 13-15 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s).
