Erect, lignotuberous shrub, 0.2-1.5 m high. Fl. yellow/yellow-brown/red-brown, Aug to Oct. White, grey, yellow/brown or black sand, sometimes with lateritic gravel.
Scientific Description
Shrubs; branchlets glabrous, ribbed. Leaves alternate, 120-350 mm long, glabrous; lamina flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib. Inflorescences; scape 50-480 mm long, glabrous; floral bracts 1-2 mm long, glabrous. Perianth 6-7 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary hairy, sessile; pistil 6-10 mm long, style glabrous. Follicles not viscid, dehiscent. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
