Erect, woody perennial, suckering herb or shrub, 0.15-0.6(-1) m high. Fl. cream-yellow, Sep to Dec. Granitic or lateritic gravelly soils. Low winter-wet areas, lateritic breakaways, outcrops.

Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets glabrous, ribbed or not ribbed. Leaves alternate, 40-125 mm long, glabrous; petiole glabrous; lamina subterete or flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 15-80 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, yellow; scape 40-110 mm long, glabrous; floral bracts 2-2.7 mm long, glabrous. Perianth 6-8.5 mm long, glabrous; ovary hairy, sessile; pistil 6-9 mm long; style including stigmatic disc 6-9 mm long. Follicles not viscid. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL), Warren (WAR) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
