Erect, tufted shrub, 0.3-1 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul to Nov. Sand, sandy clay, gravel, wet clay. Rocky hillsides, flats.

Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 60-120 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided, indumentum appressed; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 55-110 mm; terminal leaf lobe 3-15 mm long, 1-3 mm wide; lowest lobes 15-55 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 130-280 mm long; floral bracts 1-1.5 mm long. Perianth 4.5-5 mm long, glabrous; adaxial tepal 4.5-5 mm long; abaxial tepal 2-2.5 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 2-2.2 mm long, entire; stigma 0.5-1 mm long, 0.3 mm wide. Flowers in July, August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s).
