Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.15-0.42 m high, Leaves tufted, linear, 1.5-4.5 cm long, 0.5-0.9 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glabrous. Scape glabrous. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. white, Oct to Nov. Grey to grey-black sandy clay. Winter-wet flats and depressions, creeklines. Melaleuca shrubland, open wandoo or jarrah woodland.
