Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.3-0.5 m high, Leaves narrowly oblanceolate, 2-6 cm long, 1.8-4 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glabrous. Scape glabrous, or sparingly glandular along inflorescence axis. Inflorescence spiciforme. Fl. pink, Sep to Oct. Sand over laterite. Gentle slopes, upland. Woodland or shrubland.
