Rosetted perennial, herb, (0.06-)0.1-0.3(-0.4) m high, Leaves narrowly oblanceolate, 0.5-2 cm long, 0.7-2.5 mm wide, apex acute, margin entire, glabrous. Scape glabrous at base, inflorescence axis sparingly glandular. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. pink-purple, Sep to Dec. Clayey sand or loam over laterite. Hilltops, plains, forests, open woodlands, low heath.
