Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs. Leaves alternate, 50-130 mm long, 3-3.5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, straight or curved, scabrous, apex pungent, 3-4 mm long. Inflorescences not viscid, pink. Perianth 30-34 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 30-34 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, hairy. Cone with deciduous scales. Flowers in September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Threatened (T).
