Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 110-355 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina flat, twice or more divided, tripartitely divided, deeply divided, indumentum spreading; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 50-240 mm; terminal leaf lobe 10-20 mm long, 4-5 mm wide; lowest lobes 20-60 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 250-365 mm long; floral bracts 1.7-2.2 mm long. Perianth 4.5-5 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; adaxial tepal 4.5-5 mm long; abaxial tepal 3.5-4.5 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 2.5-3 mm long, horned; stigma 0.8 mm long, 0.5-0.6 mm wide. Follicles 5-6 mm long. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s).
