Tree or shrub, 1-6 m high, bark grey-brown, rough to 0.3m smooth above; phyllodes glossy-green. Fl. yellow, Aug to Nov. Pale brown-grey sand or sandy clay over limestone. Swales between dunes, margins of estuaries, wetlands, flood plains.
