Dense, rounded multi-stemmed shrub, to 1.7 m high, bark minni-ritchi at base, smooth on upper branches; phyllodes straight, pungent, terete, grey-green, ascending; flower heads oblong. Dark brown hard clay-loam, granite. Clay flats at base of rock outcrops.
